Jordan Leslie Reis
July 30th, 2003 – March 19th, 2024
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our ever so loved Jordan on March 19th, 2024, at the young age of 20.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother Jennifer (Jay), brothers Josh and Jackson; grandmother (mama) Sandra, girlfriend Riley, father’s Paul/Jeff, brother Tristin, sister Manie, vovó Maria, grandma/grandpa Neill and all his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and many friends too numerous to mention. Jordan had his own special relationship with each and every one of them.
Jordan was predeceased by his grandfather (papa) Stanford, uncle Kelvin, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jordan was born in Winnipeg where he spent the first 10 years of his childhood. In 2013 the family made the decision to move to Elma to live the country life. After moving to Elma Jordan attended Whitemouth School where he graduated in 2021 and received an award for excellence and passion for sports. Jordan acquired many friendships throughout his school life and was known for his love of all sports, especially cheerleading and volleyball. Jordan loved attending school, he was the center of attention in a good way and always willing to help others. With his involvement in the 249 Air Cadet Squadron in Beausejour Jordan attained many fond memories and had great experiences.
Jordan’s determination and drive found himself working summers at the young age of 16 for a local company, Green Inspirations Landscaping Ltd. He enjoyed being a landscaper which inspired him to go to RRC Polytech in 2023 for an apprenticeship in Landscape Horticulture.
In May 2023 Jordan and his brother Josh decided to move from home to Tyndall. During their time in Tyndall, they experienced “adulting” for the first time with all the trials and tribulations that comes along with it as well as freedom to become their unique selves.
Jordan loved being active and spending time outdoors, off-roading, swimming, tubing, canoeing, camping, fishing/hunting, bike riding, playing catch, hours on the trampoline with his brothers and shooting hoops with friends. Jordan also loved his indoor time online-gaming with friends, family game nights and always listening to his favourite music.
Jordan had a warm and fun personality, as well as caring deeply for his family and friends. He was gentle, compassionate, kind and loving. He will forever be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
A life gone way too soon. Rest in peace Jordan, you will never be forgotten, you will always be loved. Your beautiful heart stopped beating, our hearts broke in two, knowing that here on earth, there will never be another you…
